Grades 4–6

Foundations

Number sense, place value, fractions, decimals, patterning, and early geometry and measurement — the building blocks for everything that follows.

Grades 7–8

Intermediate

Ratios, rates, percentages, integers, introductory algebra, and more advanced geometry — preparing students for the transition to high school math.

Grades 9–10

Secondary

Academic and applied high school math: algebra, linear relations, functions, and geometry, with an eye on building the skills report cards and exams demand.

English / Language Arts

Confident readers, writers, and communicators

Our English program develops the fundamentals that carry through every subject: reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary.

Grades 4–6

Foundations

Reading comprehension strategies, sentence structure, spelling, vocabulary building, and the fundamentals of paragraph writing.

Grades 7–8

Intermediate

Essay structure, grammar mastery, critical reading of longer texts, and developing a student's own writing voice.

Grades 9–10

Secondary

Literary analysis, persuasive and analytical essay writing, exam preparation, and the communication skills high school courses expect.
